Poland to investigate whether Walesa spy files were forged
“The prosecutors will launch a probe into whether the documents allegedly proving cooperation of Solidarity legend Lech Walesa with communist-era special services were fabricated as Walesa claims, Lukasz Kaminski the head of Poland’s Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) told a press conference on February 25 2016.
Documents, which were found on February 16 in the house of communist-era notable Czeslaw Kiszczak, who died in November, show that Walesa in early 1970s was an agent under the code name Bolek.
