2015 Austrian Music Weeks in Bulgaria opens on April 23

The annual Austrian Music Weeks in Bulgaria opens with a concert in Sofia’s Bulgaria Hall on April 23 2015 and continues until May 21, with a total of 15 concerts in eight cities.

The programme of this year’s series of concerts, being held with the motto. “chances and ways” is:

Meena Cryle and The Chris Fillmore Band
Blues concert with a very special Austrian band. Mixture of styles from Meena Cryle and her musicians Chris Fillmore (guitar), Marlene Lacherstorfer (bass) and Frank Cortez (percussion) – from blues to pop, jazz, funk and southern-rock. Various successful albums, tours in Europe and beyond and international impressed reactions on the second place in the European Blues-Challenge 2011 in Berlin, semi-final at the International Blues-Challenge 2013 in Memphis and nomination for the Amadeus-Award make it more than clear: this concert should not be missed.
