EU launches Europe in Harmony video contest

The European Economic and Social Committee has launched its annual online video competition for the third time.

This year’s challenge, organized in partnership with the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, is called Europe in Harmony and is open to amateur videomakers, choirs and singing groups from all 28 EU Member States.

Entrants are required to perform an interpretation of “Ode to Joy” accompanied by a video clip, which can be devoted to a European topic of their choice, the EESC said in a press release.
