Remembrance Day service in Sofia: Photos
Diplomatic and military representatives, former members of the armed forces and members of the community from a number of countries gathered at the war graves section of Sofia Central Cemetery on November 9 2014 for the annual service of remembrance.
Co-hosted by the ambassadors of the United Kingdom and of Ireland, the service commemorated the dead of all wars, as has become an annual tradition, while also marking the centenary year of the outbreak of World War 1.
Ambassadors and military attaches present included those from the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Germany, Italy, Turkey, the United States, Ukraine, Israel and Russia.
