Fourteen political parties to stand in Macedonia’s April parliamentary elections
Fourteen political parties will compete in the early parliamentary elections on April 27 2014 in Macedonia. The State Election Commission (SEC) confirmed that out of 14 political parties, some of them are part of coalitions.
This is the smallest number of political competitors in elections ever held in Macedonia.
The main race amongst Macedonian parties will be held between two big coalitions. One of them is led by VMRO-DPMNE which is in power. The other is the Macedonian opposition coalition led by Macedonian Social Democratic League (LSDM).
