What’s on: Bulgarian archaeology 2013

Bulgaria’s National Archaeology Institute and Museum will host the seventh annual exhibition showcasing some of the more interesting findings of last year’s archaeological season, opening on February 14 2014.

The museum will host items from 17 different sites, ranging from the earliest pre-historic periods to the medieval era. A total of 11 regional history and archaeological museums from throughout Bulgaria are co-organisers of the exhibition, contributing items from their collections, the museum said.

The exhibition will run from February 14 until March 30, in the central hall of the archaeology museum (at 2 Suborna Street, opposite the presidency building).
