AmCham Bulgaria donates 15 000 leva to two charity initiatives

The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Bulgaria donated 10 000 leva to the Bulgarian Christmas (Булгарска Коледа) charity initiative held under the patronage of President Rossen Plevneliev, AmCham said on December 20 2013.

The 2013-2014 Bulgarian Christmas campaign is under the slogan “Fewer children with poor eyesight and poor hearing”. The ultimate goal of the campaign is to provide hi-tech appliances to university and regional hospitals in the country.

AmCham Bulgaria also responded to an appeal by the “For Our Children” Foundation to help Syrian refugee children. The chamber donated 5000 leva for the needs of the children in Harmanli refugee centre.
