What’s On: Anneke Van Giersbergen to promote new album in Sofia on November 28
Dutch singer, musician and songwriter Anneke van Giersbergen is going on a European Tour to promote her new album Drive. The tour will bring her to Sofia on November 28; this is her fourth visit to Bulgaria and third in Sofia.
Anneke is the former lead singer and guitarist of the Dutch progressive/alternative rock band The Gathering. After parting ways with the band, she became the face and voice of Agua de Annique, which also included her husband and band drummer, Rob Snijders.
Her supporting act in Sofia will be Amanda Somerville, the American singer-songwriter known for her work with many European symphonic metal bands.
The gig in Sofia is at Rock It bar (starting at 9pm), with tickets already on sale at eventim.bg for 40 leva.
