Joint tourism project underway in SEE
Bulgaria’s government has approved the memorandum of understanding signed in February 2012 regarding the project Cultural and Tourist Route ‘On the Road of Roman Emperors’, informs the Focus news agency.
The partners in the project are the ministries in charge of tourism in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Serbia. The four countries aim at setting up a joint tourist product on the basis of the Roman cultural and historical heritage, said Bulgaria’s government’s press service.
The memorandum includes initiatives for stimulating tourist exchange, coordinated presentation on the international market, tourist fairs, conferences and other international tourist events and regional co-operation enhancement.
The countries will exchange experts in management, marketing, preservation of resources for cultural tourism and professional development.
