Bulgarian Air Force to perform low-altitude flypasts on May 5 and 6

The Bulgarian Air Force will perform low-altitude flypasts on May 5 and 6, the Ministry of Defence said.

The flights, involving helicopters, transport aircraft and fighter jets, are in connection with May 6, St George’s Day, which is also Bulgaria’s Armed Forces Day.

On May 5, there will be rehearsal flights over capital city Sofia, from 9am to 11am.

On May 6, there will flights over Sofia in a time window from 10am to 11am, the ministry said.

After taking part in the flypasts over Sofia on May 6, on returning to their air bases, the aircraft will perform flights over the cities of Plovdiv and Yambol.
