Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in February 2026 was 3.2%
The unemployment rate in Bulgaria in February 2026 was 3.2 per cent, up from 3.1 per cent in January 2026 and down from 3.5 per cent in February 2025, European Union statistics office Eurostat said on April 1, citing seasonally-adjusted data.
In February 2026, the euro area seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.2 per cent, up from 6.1 per cent in January 2026 and down from 6.3 per cent in February 2025, Eurostat said.
The EU unemployment rate was 5.9 per cent in February 2026, stable compared with January 2026 and down from 6.0 per cent in February 2025.
In February 2026, the youth unemployment rate was 15.3 per cent in the EU, up from 15.2 per cent in the previous month, and 14.9 per cent in the euro area, stable compared with January 2026.
In Bulgaria, youth unemployment in February 2026 was 12.5 per cent, up from 12.2 per cent in January 2026 and up from 10.5 per cent in February 2025, Eurostat said.
