Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in February 2025 was 3.9%

The unemployment rate in Bulgaria in February 2025 was 3.9 per cent, unchanged from January 2025 and down from 4.6 per cent in February 2024, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on April 1, citing seasonally-adjusted figures.

The EU unemployment rate was 5.7 per cent in February 2025, also down from 5.8 per cent in January 2025 and from 6.1 per cent in February 2024.

In February 2025, the euro zone seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 6.1 per cent, down from 6.2 per cent in January 2025 and from 6.5 per cent in February 2024.

In Bulgaria, youth unemployment was 10.7 per cent in February 2025, up from 10.2 per cent in January 2025 and down from 15.4 per cent in February 2024.

In February 2025, the youth unemployment rate was 14.5 per cent in the EU, down from 14.6 per cent in January 2025, and 14.2 per cent in the euro zone, up from 14.1 per cent in the previous month, Eurostat said.
