Defence Ministry: Polish military personnel to transit Bulgaria for Ramstein Flag exercise

Personnel and military equipment from Poland’s armed forces will travel on national roads in Bulgaria on September 18, from the Vidin border crossing via Sofia to the Kulata border crossing, Bulgaria’s Defence Ministry said.

The Polish military personnel are travelling in connection with their participation in Nato’s Ramstein Flag 2024 exercise, the ministry said.

The motorcade will return on the same route on October 15.

Polish military personnel and equipment will travel on September 19 from the Vidin border crossing to the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing, with a return trip on September 23.

The motorcades will be escorted by Military Police teams.
