Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry advises citizens not to travel to Israel
Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry has issued a statement saying that “in connection with the dynamically developing security situation in the Middle East in recent days, we recommend that Bulgarian citizens refrain from travelling to Israel and Palestine”.
In a statement on July 31, the ministry called on Bulgarians currently there to follow the recommendations published on its website and to register with Bulgaria’s diplomatic missions in Tel Aviv or Ramallah, providing their current contact details if necessary.
Earlier, on July 29, the ministry issued an advisory saying that given the situation in the Middle East, a number of flights to and from Beirut had been cancelled.
