Austrian chancellor Kurz postpones visit to Bulgaria for health reasons
A planned visit to Bulgaria on February 20 by Austrian federal chancellor Sebastian Kurz has been postponed because he is ill.
Kurz had been due to hold talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov on deepening bilateral relations and on EU issues. Bulgaria currently holds the rotating presidency of the Council of the EU, which Austria will hold in the second half of 2018.
The staffs of the respective offices of the two heads of government agreed on March 15 as the new date for Kurz’s visit, the government said.
