Bulgaria’s exports in January-November 2016 up 1.5% y/y – NSI

Bulgaria’s exports in January to November 2016 were 1.5 per cent higher than in January-November 2015, while imports dropped by 1.8 per cent, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on January 12, citing preliminary figures.

In January – November 2016, the total value of all goods exported from Bulgaria to both EU and non-EU countries amounted to 42 128.9 million leva, while the total value of all imported goods added up to 46 398.6 million leva, the NSI said.

In November 2016, Bulgaria’s total exports added up to 4 230.3 million leva, about 14.6 per cent more than in November 2015.

In November 2016, total imports increased by 2.9 per cent compared to November 2015, adding up to 4 706.8 million leva.
