Game Evolution 2016 to be held in Sofia in September
Sofia will become a paradise for gamers. Game Evolution 2016 is scheduled to start on September 9 2016, and end some 48 hours later, on September 11. The event will take place at the biggest hall Sofia has to offer: Arena Armeec, with a maximum capacity of 15 000 people.
It gets even better: There is a prize fund amounting to 21 000 leva. The organisers say that a percentage of the income through ticket sales will be moved into that fund.
Tickets are already available, at eventim, for 20 leva. Unaccompanied children, people with disabilities and seniors will pay 10 leva only.
Game Evolution 2016 offers tournaments and 1:1 games in the following “disciplines”: League of Legends, CS: GO , Hearthstone, Overwatch, Warcraft 3 and the FIFA. No, that’s not all. There are competitions and game demonstrations. Also, they will make people get up from their chairs (yes, at a gaming convention), by offering “extreme sports”, street basketball and football.
This might be very convincing to gamers of different ages.
