Greece holds general strike over social security bill
A general strike is being held in Greece on December 3 by trade unions of the private and social sector against the bill on social security.
Protesters will rally at Klaphthmonos Square in Athens and in central squares of other Greek cities.
The Seamen’s Federation is also participating in the general strike –as a result, ships are to remain anchored in the ports for 24 hours.
