What’s On: Yotzov Clarinet Sextet at Sofia’s Studio 5 on March 7

The Yotzov Clarinet Sextet is to perform at Studio 5 in Sofia on March 7, introducing a new programme that the group calls a combination of their familiar virtuoso style and new jazz and Latin rhythms and colours.

The sextet was founded by Bobby Yotzov, one of Bulgaria’s most popular and beloved musicians in the field of classical music, winner of Bulgarian National Radio’s musician of the year award and of a Crystal Lyre, the most prestigious award for classical music in Bulgaria.

Joining the sextet are Teodoro “Toto” Petkov on piano and Peru’s Piero Epifania on cajon.

The concert begins at 6.30pm. Entrance is eight leva, admission for pupils and students is free.
