Bulgarian actor Zahary Bacharov to appear in Game of Thrones
Bulgarian actor Zahary Bacharov, most recently seen on the big screen in The Monuments Men, has a role as tribal leader Loboda in the fifth season of HBO’s hit television series Game of Thrones.
Bacharov, who according to the IMDB entry on the series will appear in the eighth episode of the fifth season, plays the leader of tribe that instils fear in its opponents with its bloodthirsty cannibal rituals.
Sofia-born Bacharov (34), stands at 1.93m and has the looks to match the casting requirements for the part, including being clean-shaven and bald.
He has some experience in playing the toughest of tough guys, including his part in Bulgarian National Television’s highly successful crime series Undercover (Под прикритие, Pod Prikitie), which has now been shown in more than nine European countries, China, Turkey and Latin America.
The fifth season of Game of Thrones premieres in April 2015.
