Poland may launch shale gas production no sooner than in five to 10 years
Poland’s rather slow progress in shale gas exploration suggests any potential extraction will come no sooner than in five-ten years, energy expert from the Energy Studies Institute Pawel Poprawa has said.
“There is no great progress in Poland,” Poprawa told PAP Polish news agency. “Works on our deposits have slowed down significantly.”
“I believe that discussions on production within two years are completely unrealistic,” Poprawa said.
