Sofia’s National Art Gallery to host Picasso exhibition in October 2015
An exhibition featuring works from the Museo Picasso Malaga will be hosted at the National Art Gallery in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia in October 2015.
This emerged from a Culture Ministry media statement following a meeting between caretaker Culture Minister Martin Ivanov and Spain’s ambassador to Bulgaria, José Luis Tapia Vicente.
The exhibition, featuring between 60 and 100, will open in mid-October and be on until the end of November 2015. It will include lithographs, graphic works and ceramics.
The head of the Picasso Foundation, Jose Maria Luna, considered the ballroom of the former royal palace to be the perfect venue for the exhibition, according to the Culture Ministry statement.
