Sofia Marathon 2014 to be held on October 12
The annual Sofia Marathon will be held on October 12 from 10am to 4pm, with a starting point in front of the Vassil Levski National Stadium in Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Boulevard.
Sofia municipality said that there would be traffic diversions in parts of the centre of the city because of the marathon.
Different events are part of the marathon: a three km fun run starting at 9.40am, an eight km run starting at 9.50am, the 42.195km marathon starting at 10am and a 20km run starting at 10.05am.
