One of Bulgarian capital city Sofia’s most important intersections, at Lion Bridge (Лъвов мост), and Maria Louisa Boulevard will be closed to traffic for 45 days because of reconstruction work, Sofia municipality said on June 4 2014.

Motorists were advised to use alternative routes on Rakovski Street and Hristo Botev Boulevard.
Traffic will be redirected to Slivnitsa Boulevard and Kozloduy Street.

The construction project will also mean suspension of tram services on that section of Maria Louisa Boulevard.
