Barekov: We want talks with President Plevneliev on caretaker government, early elections

Nikolai Barekov, leader of Bulgaria Without Censorship (BWC) told an election night news conference that his party wanted the parties that had won seats in the European Parliament to hold talks with President Rossen Plevneliev on a way out of the country’s crisis, the formation of a caretaker government and early elections within two to three months.

According to three polling agencies, exit polls showed BWC as having won two out of Bulgaria’s 17 European Parliament seats, with between 10 and 11 per cent of the vote.
