Major concerts, entertainment events in Bulgaria in early 2014
A concert by Placido Domingo at Sofia’s Arena Armeec Hall on February 14 at 8pm is among the major entertainment events in Bulgaria in the first part of 2014.

Earlier, the list of concerts by well-known names begins with Kool and the Gang, on January 21 at 8pm at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, NDK. Tickets at the NDK box office and online via Ticketpro.
Emir Kusturica’s No Smoking Orchestra is at NDK on February 7 at 8pm. Sarajevo-born Kusturica is best-known as a film director, an award-winner for films including Underground, Black Cat, White Cat and Arizona Dream. Tickets at the NDK box office and via eventim.bg.
Lord of the Dance returns to Bulgaria on March 15, for an 8pm performance at Arena Armeec in Sofia.
Finnish group Amorphis, who have been around for about 20 years and are known for their mix of metal, Northern epic and Finnish folklore, are at Club 5 Mixtape on March 18. Tickets, costing 33 or 45 leva, via eventim.bg.
Outside Sofia, pianist Richard Clayderman performs in Veliko Turnovo for the first time, on March 21 at the Vassil Levski Palace of Culture and Sport at 7pm. Tickets via eventim.bg
After its triumphant performances at NDK in 2012, the National Ballet of Spain returns to Hall 1 on March 25.
