Poland will not scrap nuclear programme – PM Tusk
The Polish government is sticking to its plans to develop nuclear power generation capacities in parallel with shale gas projects to diversify its energy sources, PM Donald Tusk told reporters on Thursday.
“The nuclear power project will still be government’s strategic goal along with shale gas, nothing has changed in this respect,” Tusk said, adding that the nuclear and shale gas projects constitute foundation for broad-based energy sources diversification.
