Relatives of Bourgas terrorist bombing victims visiting Bulgaria for commemorative ceremonies
Relatives of the five Israeli citizens who died in a suicide bomb attack by an as-yet unidentified terrorist in Bourgas on July 18 are to visit Bulgaria for commemorative ceremonies on August 28 and 29.
One of the ceremonies will be held at the Sofia Synagogue and the other in the Black Sea city where the airport terrorist attack cost the lives of five Israelis and a Bulgarian bus driver.
Shalom, the organisation of the Jews in Bulgaria, said that the ceremony at the Synagogue was organised by the Israeli embassy, Shalom, and the Israeli Central Spiritual Board.
The relatives are scheduled to meet President Rossen Plevneliev, Prime Minister Boiko Borissov and Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister Delyan Dobrev.
