Romney lauds deep ties between America and Poland
Poland has no greater friend and ally than the American nation, visiting Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney said Tuesday during an address in the Warsaw University Library.
“You helped us win our independence… your bravery inspired the allies in the Second World War… you helped bring down the Iron Curtain… and your soldiers fought side-by-side with ours in Iraq and Afghanistan.” Romney said.
Romney, was on a two-day visit to Poland, the final stop of his three-country overseas pre-election tour which also included Britain and Israel.
