Bicycle park unveiled in Pamporovo
A new bicycle park was unveiled in the Pamporovo resort in the Rhodope Mountains.
This marks the opening of the summer tourist season in the resort.
The park offers 20 km of bicycle paths and a downhill track, 1800 m long. There is also a family track, suitable for beginners, children and families who want to have a leisurely ride, 5400 long. It will take the cyclists to some of the most picturesque areas around.
“We hope to attracts visitors and maybe even some big tournaments”, said Marian Belyakov, executive director of the Pamporovo resort for the BNT public broadcaster.
The aim is to turn the area into a major attraction for cyclists in the summer.
