Armed clashes in Kumanovo between police and armed group
There were armed clashes on May 9 between police and an armed group in the centre of Kumanovo in northern Macedonia.
Police forces have surrounded the city along with special forces and helicopters.
IBNA learns from unofficial sources that this clash led to the killing of four civilians and several wounded.
“Based on the information that we have, four people were killed, among them was a child. We’re waiting on more concrete information. We have no further information as to what’s happening. We see homes on fire and great damage,” IBNA was told by a resident of Kumanovo.
