Senior Polish officer detained on suspicion of spying for foreign country
A high-ranking Polish army officer has been detained on suspicion of being a member of a foreign intelligence service, the Polish defence ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.
“The basis for the detention was the evidence collected by the Polish army counterintelligence service,” Colonel Jacek Sonta said.
