Bulgarian government proposes lifting temporary restriction on exports of fuels
Bulgaria’s Cabinet adopted on August 5 a decision to submit to the National Assembly a proposal to repeal Parliament’s October 31 2025 decision introducing a temporary measure to restrict the export and intra-community supplies of petroleum products to other member states of the European Union, the government information service said.
The proposal envisages the National Assembly repealing the temporary measure covering the export and intra-community supplies of certain types of petroleum products, including diesel fuel with and without bioadditives, paraffin, industrial fuels and medium oils from bituminous minerals, the statement said.
Parliament currently is in its summer recess, which is scheduled to continue until August 23.
