NSI: Visits by non-residents to Bulgaria for holidays in June 2026 down 0.5% y/y
There were a total of 744 469 visits to Bulgaria by non-residents for holidays in June 2026, a decrease of 0.5 per cent compared with June 2025, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on July 29, citing preliminary data.
Of the total, 451 471 were from other European Union countries, the NSI said.
A total of 141 216 visits were from Romania, 79 417 from Poland, while the next-largest were from non-EU countries: Türkiye, 73 953, and Ukraine, 67 874.
Other large numbers of visits were from Germany, 48 625, Greece, 42 606, the United Kingdom, 41 577, Czechia, 49 988, Israel, 20 664, and North Macedonia, 17 799, according to the NSI figures.
