Earthquake of 3.6 on Richter Scale close to Bulgaria’s Blagoevgrad

An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter Scale was measured on November 17 at 4.48pm with an epicentre 16km from Bulgaria’s city of Blagoevgrad, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported.

The epicentre was 92km south of Bulgaria’s capital city Sofia.

The earthquake was at a depth of five km, the centre said.

There were no immediate reports of serious injury or damage.
