Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2024 was 3.9%
Unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2024 was 3.9 per cent, down from four per cent in October 2024 and down from 4.4 per cent in November 2023, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on January 7, citing seasonally-adjusted data.
In November 2024, the EU unemployment rate was 5.9 per cent in November 2024, stable compared with October 2024 and down from 6.1 per cent in November 2023, Eurostat said.
The euro zone seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in November 2024 was 6.3 per cent, stable compared with October 2024 and down from 6.5 per cent in November 2023.
Youth unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2024 was 12.1 per cent, stable compared with October 2024 and down from 13.6 per cent in November 2023.
In November 2024, the youth unemployment rate was 15.3 per cent in the EU, up from 15.2 per cent in October 2024, and 15 per cent in the euro zone, stable compared with the previous month, Eurostat said.
