Bulgaria’s Borovets mountain resort to officially open 2024/25 winter season on December 21

Bulgaria’s mountain resort of Borovets is to officially open its 2024/25 winter season on December 21 “but if the weather smiles on us and conditions allow, we can start earlier,” the resort said on its official website.

It said that lift passes at last year’s prices were available until December 12.

The mountain resort of Bansko officially opens its ski season on December 14, although given the good conditions, the resort opened most of its ski areas early, on December 6.

Bansko is offering a pre-season sale of seasonal lift passes up to December 13, its official website said.

Pamporovo opened its season on December 7 and, according to its official website, has promotional prices on lift passes until December 20.
