Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2023 was 4.3%

Unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2023 was 4.3 per cent, down from 4.4 per cent in October 2023 and up from 3.9 per cent in November 2022, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on January 9, citing seasonally-adjusted data.

Across the EU, unemployment in November 2023 was 5.9 per cent, down from six per cent in October 2023 and down from 6.1 per cent in November 2022, Eurostat said.

In the euro zone, unemployment in November 2023 was 6.4 per cent, down from 6.5 per cent in October 2023 and from 6.7 per cent in November 2022.

Youth unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2023 was 12 per cent, down from 12.5 per cent in October 2023 and up from 8.7 per cent in November 2022.

Youth unemployment in the EU in November 2023 was 14.5 per cent, down from 14.8 per cent the previous month and the same as 14.5 per cent in November 2022.

In the euro zone, youth unemployment was 14.5 per cent in November 2023, down from 14.8 per cent the previous month and up from 14.4 per cent in November 2022, Eurostat said.
