Unemployment in Bulgaria in February 2023 was 3.8%
Unemployment in Bulgaria in February 2023 was 3.8 per cent, down from 3.9 per cent in January 2023 and from 4.6 per cent in February 2022, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on March 31, citing seasonally-adjusted figures.
Across the EU, unemployment in February 2023 was six per cent, down from 6.1 per cent in January and from 6.2 per cent in February 2022, Eurostat said.
In the euro zone, unemployment in February 2023 was 6.6 per cent, unchanged from January and down from 6.8 per cent in February 2022.
Youth unemployment in Bulgaria in February 2023 was 9.4 per cent, down from 9.5 per cent in January and from 12.8 per cent in February 2022.
The EU youth unemployment figure in February 2023 was 14.5 per cent, up from 14.4 per cent in January and from 14.2 per cent in February last year.
In the euro zone, youth unemployment in February this year was 14.3 per cent, unchanged from Janary and up from 14.2 per cent in February 2022, Eurostat said.
