Bulgaria changes to summer daylight savings time: Railway timetable affected
Clocks in Bulgaria change to summer daylight savings time on March 26 at 3am, going forward an hour, and this will affect the timetable of trains travelling around that time, Bulgarian state railways BDZ said.
Trains affected include international fast train (“fast” in the official terminology of BDZ, distinguishing it from an “express” train) No. 492 from Svilengrad to Plovdiv, which will depart from Svilengrad railway station at 4.25am.
The schedule of fast train No. 1622 from Plovdiv to Sofia will also be affected. It will depart from Plovdiv railway station 60 minutes earlier than its regular schedule, that is, at 5.35am, BDZ said.
Fast train No. 2626 from Varna to Sofia via Gorna Oryahovitsa junction will depart from Varna station at 9.55pm.
Fast train No. 2627 from Sofia to Varna via Gorna Oryahovitsa) will depart from Sofia Central Railway Station at 10.45pm.
Fast train No. 3636 from Varna to Sofia via Karlovo will depart from Varna station at 9.40pm.
Fast train No. 3637 from Sofia to Varna via Karlovo will departs from Sofia Central Station at 10.40pm.
Fast train No. 8626 from Bourgas to Sofia via Plovdiv will depart from Bourgas station at 10.30pm.
Fast train No. 8627 from Sofia to Bourgas via Plovdiv will depart from Sofia Central Station at 10.55pm.
Fast train No. 8656 from Varna to Sofia via Plovdiv will depart from Varna station at 11.45pm.
Fast train No. 8657 from Sofia to Varna via Plovdiv will depart from Sofia Central Station at 9.15pm.
Fast train No. 4656 from Dimitrovgrad to Rousse distribution station will depars from Dimitrovgrad station at 00.25am.
Fast train No. 4657 from Rousse to Dimitrovgrad will from Rousse station at 10.20pm.
Fast train No. 9647 from Sofia to Silistra will depart from Sofia Central Station at 8.05pm.
Passenger train No. 16101 from Septemvri to Dobrinishte will depart 60 minutes earlier from Septemvri station, that is, at 1.20am.
Suburban passenger train No. 20200 from Mezdra to Sofia will depart 60 minutes earlier from Mezdra station, at 2.20am.
Suburban passenger train No. 20202 from Mezdra to Sofia will depart 30 minutes earlier from Mezdra station, at 4.20am.
