Bulgaria Black Sea Resorts: Sozopol Nominated
The Black Sea resort Sozopol was nominated as the “Best European Destination” by the organization EuropeanBestDestinations.
Darik News reported, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism, Nikolina Angelkova, had been present at the event. She was quoted as saying: “Such attractions as Castle Ravadinovo help us to extend the season and offer more impressions for tourists on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast”. The ceremony actually took place at that castle.
According to the minister, the southern part of the Black Sea coast has welcomed more than a quarter of a million visitors in June of 2016.
