PM says Poland ready to offer solutions to constitutional crisis
The Polish government will propose solutions aimed at solving the months-long crisis over the Constitutional Tribunal, PM Beata Szydlo said after her meeting with the First Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans on Tuesday in Warsaw.
“We are ready to implement changes,” Szydlo said at a press conference, without giving details. “We’ve been in talks with the EU for a while now, and this dialogue will continue.”
Szydlo added that the government’s aim was to make the tribunal’s work transparent and efficient, while observing the rule of law.
