Doctors expect Slovak PM Fico to undergo bypass surgery
Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico who has been hospitalised in the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Bratislava since April 14 will probably have to undergo bypass surgery.
Cardiologists who were addressed by the Sme daily expect this scenario. However, the information that the prime minister suffers from a problem with narrowed arteries supplying the heart, published by the Denník N daily, is true.
Cardiologists approached by Sme Gabriel Kamenský and Jan Pirk agree that following a successful operation, Fico will be able to perform his post without any problems.
