Bulgaria declares ‘Code Orange’ weather warning over strong winds in 14 regions for November 22

Bulgaria has declared a “Code Orange” hazardous weather warning for November 22 because of a weather forecast for strong winds in 14 regions.

The 14 regions are Bourgas, Dobrich, Haskovo, Kurdzhali, Montana, Razgrad, Rousse, Shoumen, Silistra, Sliven, Turgovishte, Varna, Veliko Turnovo and Yambol. Wind speeds are expected to reach 27 m/s.

The lesser “Code Yellow” potentially hazardous weather warning has been issued for Sofia city, Sofia district, Plovdiv, Vratsa, Pleven, Gabrovo, Lovech, Pernik, Kyustendil, Pazardzhik and Stara Zagora.
