Migrant crisis: Bulgarian PM calls for tolerance
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov has called for tolerance towards refugees, while saying that Bulgaria was effective in guarding its borders from people-traffickers and illegal migrants.
Meanwhile, the country’s Foreign Minister, Daniel Mitov, has said that countries that close their borders should try to find a way by which to control migration pressures. Mitov said that when it comes to human trafficking, it had to be admitted that there is much work to be done not only in Bulgaria but throughout the EU.
Speaking on September 13, Borissov said that hundreds of thousands of people were fleeing from slaughter, “and we should show more tolerance”.
