Macedonia’s interior minister Gordana Jankulovska, transport minister Mile Janakievski and secret services head (DSK) Saso Mijalkov resigned on the night of May 12.
In their resignation letters which were made public, they did not give the reasons for their resignations, but only underlined that during their term in office, they have worked with professionalism and have served the interests of the state and citizens of the country.
Prime minister’s Gruevski office said that parliament had received the proposals for the appointment of the new ministers. Mitko Cavkov, who is currently police commissioner, has been proposed as interior minister, Vlado Misajlkovski, who is also the head of a government agency, has been proposed for the post of minister of transport.
