The great Spanish tenor José Carreras is to say farewell to his Bulgarian audience with a concert in Sofia at the National Palace of Culture on December 3 at 7pm.
Bulgarian fans of Carreras, of one of the famous “Three Tenors” will be among the lucky few in the world that will be able to see him live for the last time before he bows out from the music scene.
After his farewell tour, Carreras, who turns 70 next year, will continue to work at the foundation that he founded to fight leukaemia.
Concert organisers said that his programme at the concert would include some of the most popular items from his repertoire over the years.
Organisers said that a world-class soprano would be joining Carreras on stage, but they were not yet disclosing the name.
Tickets cost from 80 to 200 leva and are available via the Eventim network, eventim.bg and from May 11 at the National Palace of Culture.
