FBI Director regrets his Holocaust remarks
FBI Director James Comey said, in a handwritten letter that was handed to the Polish Ambassador in Washington Ryszard Schnepf yesterday, that he regrets his remarks suggesting that Poland shared responsibility for the Holocaust in his address delivered April 15 at the Washington Holocaust Museum’s 2015 National Tribute Dinner.
“I regret linking Germany and Poland. The Polish State bears no responsibility for the horrors imposed by the Nazis,” Comey said in the letter published on the website of Poland’s foreign ministry.
