Russian Gazprom vows to deliver minimal gas volumes to Poland
Russian Gazprom is capable of exporting gas to Poland only at the minimal contracted level and not at levels currently demanded, Gazprom’s spokesperson said.
“They [Poland] are asking for the delivery of the maximal gas volume, but we are able to deliver only the daily minimum, Gazprom’s spokesperson said as cited by Reuter’s newswire without giving justification for the decision.
According to the Russian media, Gazprom’s contracts with European firms allow for compensating for reduced gas deliveries in a later term.
