What’s On: Ballet Nacional de España in Sofia on March 25
Spain’s national ballet, the Ballet Nacional de España (BNE) performs at the National Palace of Culture, NDK, in Bulgaria’s capital city Sofia on March 25 at 7.30pm.
The ballet company will be performing Ravel’s Bolero and Bill Whelan’s Seville Suite. Choreography is by BNE artistic director Antonio Najarro.
The 50 dancers will be performing to live music.
A special wooden floor is to be put in place on the NDK Hall 1 stage, all the better to hear the sound of heels to the rhythm of flamenco.
The show has been organised by BG Sound Stage and Keene Acts, in co-operation with the embassy of Spain in Sofia. Tickets, ranging from 50 to 100 leva, are on sale online via eventim.bg and at the NDK ticket centre.
